Orders delivered outside of the EEC (including the Channel Islands, Channel Island
residents please state "Channel Islands" as your country) are not charged UK purchase
tax (VAT). VAT is deducted at the Checkout stage of ordering - after the delivery
country has been specified.

How to Shop
1. Select a product
Select a category on the left hand menu under ‘Products’. Click on the category
name you require to list all products in that category.
The ‘Quick Order’ category under ‘Shopping’ includes all products currently available.
2. The catalogue listing
You will then be presented with a list of products...
If you move your mouse over the product name it will change colour, indicating that
you can click on it to go to the full product detail page. Alternatively, click
on the product image or the words ‘View Details…’
If you wish, you can buy products from the catalogue list by clicking on the button
marked ‘Add to Basket’. Each time this button is clicked, it will add one unit of
the relevant item to your basket. Items that have been selected are listed under
‘Your Basket’ on the right hand side of the screen.If you wish, you may increase
the quantity of each item in your basket after clicking 'View Basket' (see point
5).
3. Product Details
To buy from the product details page, just click on the ‘Add to Basket’ button.
Details of items selected are listed under ‘Your Basket’ on the right hand side
of the screen.
4. The Shopping Basket Indicator
At all times the basket indicator on the right of the screen shows you the contents
of your shopping basket.
At any time you can click on ‘View Basket’ or ‘My Account’.
5. Reviewing your Shopping Basket
From the ‘View Basket’ page it is possible to amend your basket's contents or proceed
to the checkout.
To alter the required quantity of any item listed in Your Shopping Basket, overtype
the number in the Qty box and click the ‘Update Basket’ button.
To remove an item from your basket, overtype the quantity shown in the Qty box with
Zero (0) and click the ‘Update Basket’ button. Alternatively, to empty the basket
completely, click on the ‘Empty Basket’ button.
You may then continue shopping or proceed to the checkout by clicking the ‘Checkout’
button.
6. Checkout
When you enter the checkout process we ask you for the details necessary to process
your order.
If you have already registered with us you will have an Account. This means you
do not have to re-input your personal details each time you order. When you enter
the checkout process you are given the option to either Log-In if you are already
registered or to register if you have not.
You are given the opportunity to specify a separate delivery address and/or have
your order delivered to somebody as a gift.
You are asked for any special offer or Gift Vouchers you may have.
Your payment is then processed and once your payment is authorised you will receive
an email confirming your order.

7. Customer Accounts
In order to buy from the Green People web site you must register online and create
an 'account'. This enables us to store your details so that next time you order
you will not have to re-enter your name and address details. You will also be able
to view details of your previous orders and your Loyalty Scheme status.
To open your account or log-in to your existing account, select
My Account from the Shopping menu.
